At A-List Driving Academy, we provide expert instruction, flexible scheduling, and real-world driving experience—so students don’t just pass the test, they drive with confidence for life.

Maryland Driver Education Requirements

All Maryland students must complete:
• 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction
• 6 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Training

Our program fully meets all Maryland MVA standards.

How Our Program Works

Step 1: Enroll

Choose your start date and register online.

Step 2: Complete Classroom Instruction

Students attend live, instructor-led classes on a structured schedule.

Classroom Schedule Options

Weekday Accelerated (2 Weeks)
Monday – Friday
4:30 PM – 7:45 PM

Weekend Option (5 Weekends)
Saturday & Sunday
9:00 AM – 12:15 PM

Step 3: Complete Behind-the-Wheel Training

Students complete:
• Three (3) two-hour driving sessions (6 total hours)
• Scheduled online
• Daytime and limited evening availability

Important: A valid Maryland Learner’s Permit is required before driving sessions begin.

Step 4: Graduate & Get Certified

Upon completion, certification is electronically submitted directly to the Maryland MVA.

Payment & Program Options

Choose the program that best fits your schedule. All packages meet Maryland MVA requirements and include certified instructors and professional training vehicles.

Complete Driver Education Packages

Economy Package — $425

We provide a simple, affordable path to completing your driver education requirements.

This option is designed for students with flexible schedules who are able to attend daytime driving sessions.

Includes:
  • Maryland-approved 30-hour classroom program
  • 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training (three 2-hour sessions)
  • Certified instructor and training vehicle
  • Electronic completion reporting to the MVA

Driving sessions are scheduled during weekday daytime hours (8:15 AM – 2:45 PM) and are subject to standard availability.

This package is ideal for families who are not on a tight timeline and can accommodate a more flexible schedule.

If you are outside these areas, sessions will be held at:

Premium Package — $525

We provide a balanced, flexible experience with improved scheduling and faster completion.

This is our most popular option and is designed for students who need more convenience and access to better time slots.

Includes:
  • Maryland-approved 30-hour classroom program
  • 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training (three 2-hour sessions)
  • Priority access to available driving times
  • Limited after-school and evening availability (when available)
  • Certified instructor and training vehicle
  • Electronic completion reporting to the MVA

This package allows for a smoother scheduling experience and typically results in a faster overall completion timeline.

    Pickup & Meeting Locations
    All sessions meet at:

    At-home pickup is not available due to peak traffic hours. School-based pickup may be available when routes align with our central service areas.

     

    Scheduling Adjustment & Priority Notice
    While we strive to honor all scheduled sessions, adjustments may occur due to weather, safety, or instructor availability. Priority rescheduling will be provided if needed.

    Please notify us in advance of any scheduled MVA test or time-sensitive deadlines.

    Classroom Instruction Only

    $175

    Includes:
    • Maryland-approved 30-hour classroom program
    • Live instructor-led online classes
    • Transferable completion certificate

    This option is ideal for students who plan to complete their behind-the-wheel training separately or at a later time.

    Individual Driving Sessions

    $150

    For students who need additional driving practice

    Includes:
    • 2-hour behind-the-wheel session (no experience necessary)
    • Certified instructor
    • Training vehicle
    • MVA-approved instruction

    Three sessions are required for full program completion.

    The A-List Advanced (30-Day Guarantee) is best for families who want everything completed quickly and without delays. This option is designed for those on a tight timeline who prefer priority scheduling and a fast, stress-free experience.

    The Economy Package is ideal for students with flexible daytime availability who are not on a strict schedule and are comfortable with standard scheduling timelines.
