WHY ATTEND A LIST DRIVING ACADEMY?
A-List Driving Academy is an MDOT certified driver’s education training facility. A-List Driving Academy believes that everyone should have defensive driving knowledge. A-List Driving Academy does not focus on just test preparation, but we focus on developing safe driving habits. We understand that obtaining your provisional driver’s license is the beginning of your driving future. WHO NEEDS DRIVER EDUCATION?
Anyone who has never carried a Maryland driver’s license or carried a full driver’s license from another state must attend driver’s education.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE DRIVER EDUCATION?
Driver’s education consists of two sections. There are 30 classroom hours (general knowledge) and 6 behind-the-wheel hours (practical).
WHAT’S THE TOTAL COST OF DRIVER EDUCATION?
The total cost of driver education, 30 classroom hours, and 6 hours behind-the-wheel training.

HOW DO I COMPLETE THE CLASSROOM PORTION?
Here at A-List Driving Academy, we offer classroom sessions Monday-Friday for two consecutive weeks. Weekday morning classes are from 8:00 am-to 11:15 am, and evening classes are from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. We offer weekend classes from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for 5 consecutive weekends.
WHAT IF I MISS A DAY OF CLASS?
NO PROBLEM! You can arrange to make up the day that you missed during a later class. Please be advised that students may not miss more than 4 days of class, however. All students must attend the first day of class.
HOW DO I COMPLETE THE BEHIND-THE-WHEEL PORTION?
We offer the behind-the-wheel sessions daily in 2-hour increments. The behind-the-wheel training is “live”. Displayed below are the current sessions available at this moment. The schedule is added to daily as our Team adds training slots. Training slots open and close as students move into and out of the available training times. Seasonally, June, July, and August are typically the highest demand periods for behind-the-wheel training as well as weekends and after-school hours throughout the school year. We encourage students to start scheduling early and spread out their training over time to avoid conflicts to obtain their desired sessions. Please continue to monitor the schedule. If you do not find your desired training session. We appreciate your patience! There is significant demand for our services.
DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE CLASSROOM AND THE BEHIND-THE-WHEEL SESSIONS WITH A-LIST?
If you need the classroom portion only and will be taking the driving sessions elsewhere, the tuition for only the 30 classroom hours will be 175.
